Optimal health is more than just physical health. In the quest to rid ourselves of bad habits or those few extra pounds, we may overlook the role of spiritual health as an important overall component. Improving spiritual well-being need not have any association with organized religion, and may involve as simple a practice as the following:
  • Pay attention to your breath. Breath is our link to the source of universal energy that circulates through us and connects us. Minding your breath is a way of expanding consciousness beyond the ego and of experiencing transcendence.
  • Connect with nature. Try walking or sitting in a natural setting, whether a city park, a nature preserve or your garden. Allow yourself to slow down, drop your usual routines, and absorb the influence of nature.
  • Create a list of people in your life who make you feel more alive, happy, and optimistic. Make an effort to spend more time with them. Our spiritual selves resonate with others, and that connection is heali

1. Eat at least five servings of fruits and veggies a day(organic when possible).

2. Drink and smoke only in moderation(no more than 3 drinks a day or 1.6 smokes).

also make sure to take a nice, healthy DUMP everyday, preferably with a newspaper to read while doing it ....

With all due respect, Fish. Is this a joke? This guy seems to be suggesting breath mints are the key to health and happiness? Is it like if my breath smells good and I smell it often, I will have good thoughts? Good breath is going to attract good people to me and hence add to my enjoyment of life?

Now I see the light. My future looks so bright. The power of tic tacs.
